The new rails are laid and the old rails reinstalled using rail guiding clamps and spreading devices. The rails are not subjected to impermissible bending stresses at any stage of the renewal.
Adjustable rail guiding clamps are used to pick up old and new rails. The old rails are lifted, spread, and deposited on the sleeper end. The new rails are guided alongside the machine.
If old sleepers stick to the raised rails, this unit ensures that the components are separated.
