Two gantry cranes work according to the relay principle and transfer old and new sleepers for further transport in the machine system.
The gantry crane takes one layer of new
sleepers at a time from the sleeper train to the
renewal machine. On the way back, the old
sleepers are taken to the transport wagons.
Old sleepers are collected for removal.
