To meet the demand for higher outputs (up to 1,000 m³/h), Plasser & Theurer developed 2-screen machines. The first machines of this type were from the RM 800 series. Over the years, Plasser & Theurer developed the machines further and fitted them, amongst others, with an integrated stabilisation unit.
